Eating high fat foods with your daily dose of CBD Oil can increase the absorption
Bioavailability of sub-lingual CBD oil (under the tongue) is quite complex but research evidence suggests that between 10-20 per cent is absorbed on an empty stomach. When consumed with a high fat meal this increases to 24 per cent, so what are you waiting for ? We’re not saying to run out and grab a cheeseburger, however, this can be music to the ears of keto diet followers. Even if you’re not on a keto diet, healthy fats count too!
We use Fractionated Coconut Oil (MCT) as our carrier oil (the CBD in its raw state is mixed with the MCT for these reasons), it’s naturally high in fat and has had all of the non essential fats removed to allow the most efficient absorption of CBD.
Eating high fat healthy food items in addition to our CBD oil can only help further. Here are some examples of high fat and healthy food items:-
